Being cheated on is awful. Cheating on someone you love is awful, too. Sometimes a relationship can recover… other times it cannot. 1. He Hides his Phone
When you’re together, does he quickly grab his phone whenever it rings or vibrates to turn the screen away from you? Does he respond to text messages without the screen clearly turned away from you? If he hides his phone (or brings it with him) when he goes to the washroom or leaves the room, he could be hiding something from you. It could be an awesome surprise birthday party that he’s been planning for weeks… or it could be flirty text messages with someone else.
2. He Disappears and Doesn’t Call
If you’ve been together for a while, but suddenly he’s nowhere to be found at times he’d normally be home – there might be something up. There’s the chance that he’s joined the gym and is taking his commitment to health really seriously, but there’s also the chance that he’s not with you because he’s somewhere else, with someone else.
3. His Friends Are Acting Strange
Do you get the feeling that his friends are always covering for him, and have an answer for absolutely everything? If so, that’s not a good sign! If you notice a sudden shift in his friends’ attitudes towards you – even though nothing has changed in your relationship – it could be a sign that they feel awkward. Maybe he’s asked them to cover for him, or they’re suffering from guilty consciences and don’t want to spill the beans.
4. Less Sex
While there are lots of reasons why a guy might crave sex less (stress, for one) it is a cause for concern if your regularly active sex life suddenly ceases. Generally, this means something has caused the sudden change – whether it be someone new, an Internet porn addiction or otherwise. No matter what, it’s worth a talk.
5. He’s Lying
If he’s telling lies about things you don’t think are even worth lying about, chances are that he doesn’t take the truth too seriously. If he’s willing to lie about what he had for lunch, there’s a pretty good chance that he’s willing to lie about much larger things.
